Booking Policies

  • A 50% deposit is required to book your session at Bravo Ocean Studios. Time slots are first come, first served and upon Bravo Ocean Studios receipt of a 50% deposit. In some instances, Bravo Ocean may ask for a full non-refundable payment for multiple day bookings instead of a deposit. No booking is confirmed unless a deposit has been received and a confirmation text or email has been sent to client or client representative.

    • 4 hours or less bookings: Deposits are non-refundable if cancellations or rescheduling occurs within 24 hours of booking.

    • 5 hours or more bookings: Deposits are non-refundable if cancellations or rescheduling occurs within 36 hours of booking. Client subject to full payment of booking.

    • Multi-day bookings: Deposits are non-refundable if cancellations or rescheduling occurs within 48 hours of the first day of booking. Client subject to full payment of booking.

    • PO Bookings: Deposits are non-refundable if cancellations or rescheduling occurs within 48 hours of the first day of booking. Client subject to full payment of booking.

    • Bookings scheduled 2 or more weeks in advance: Deposits are non-refundable if cancellations or rescheduling occurs within 96 hours of the first day of booking. Client subject to full payment of booking.

    Subcontractor: Availability & Scheduling

    Bravo Ocean tries our best to schedule clients on the days and times requested by clients. However, confirmed bookings are also subject to the availability of the engineer, studio room, videographer, or subcontractor needed to make the session successful. Request for deposits to reserve studio time at Bravo Ocean Studios only occurs once we have secured all talent, in-house engineers or subcontractors for your specific session, date, and time.

  • Remaining balances are due at the beginning of each session. Sessions cannot begin until balances have been cleared. We recommend having paying parties arrive 15 minutes before session start to ensure your session begins on time. For multiple day bookings, balance is due at the beginning of the first booked day.

    In some instances, Bravo Ocean may ask for a full non-refundable payment for multiple day bookings instead of a deposit.

  • Bravo Ocean Studios currently accepts the following methods of payment:

    • PO

    • Invoice: w/ credit card or wire option

    • PayPal

    • Apple Pay

    • Venmo

    • Zelle

    • Cashapp

    • ACH or Wire

    • Credit Card - (in person only w/ valid matching ID)

    • Cash

  • Cancellations must be made with Bravo Ocean Studios management only and are not valid if communicated with Bravo Ocean staff, interns, or engineers. No bookings are considered cancelled until a written email or text is sent out to client by Bravo Ocean management. If cancellations or rescheduling occurs outside of the allowable time frames (see “Deposits” section” for time frames) clients are subject to full payment of booking. It is the responsibility of the client to inform their entire team of cancellations or rescheduling. Clients who fail to show up to their sessions will still be billed for the full time slot.

  • Refunds are available for deposits or payments if the request abides by our deposit, confirmations, and payment policies. See all guidelines above. Refunds must be approved by Bravo Ocean management and are handled on a case by case basis. Approved refunds will be sent back through the method it was received.

  • Subcontractor Rates:

    Bravo Ocean’s reputation for consistent quality and providing “creativity without compromise” is fostered through our in-house engineers, mixers and staff. In some instances, Bravo Ocean Studios provides some of its services and resources through our large network of vetted subcontractors. This includes engineers, mixers, studio musicians, videographers, editors, producers, event coordinators, and more. Our network of subcontractors have their own rates which are subject to change. We do our best to inform our clients as soon as possible if any rate changes effect their future project or reserved bookings. Bravo Ocean will never change rates on any confirmed bookings or contracted projects. Rate changes will only be introduced to clients with reserved time slots or those that have received estimates that haven’t been accepted yet. Client may proceed with the booking with new rate change or simply release their reservation.

  • Bravo Ocean is open as ‘normal’. To ensure the continued health and wellbeing of our clients and team, we are are operating in complete compliance with the latest US Government recommendations*. As of March 14th 2022, we no longer require guests or staff to wear face masks. Face masks are optional.

    Bravo Ocean Studios remains committed to exercising rigorous cleaning and sanitization protocols, as defined by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council. Multiple hand sanitizer stations are in accessible locations throughout the facility. HVAC has a MERV filtration rating of 13.

    *SPECIAL REQUESTS: We are committed to the comfort levels and safety of our clients. Do let us know if any special requests or preferences need to be made.

    Contactless Payment is applied through our digital payment portal, to help limit hand-to-hand contact.

    We ask that clients and staff do not come to the Studio if they develop any Covid-19 symptoms.

    *ALL protocols and safety measures are subject to change in response to the developing state and public health standards and best practices.

    Covid-19 Risk Assessment & Studio Capacities

    The occupancy max capacity for our four control rooms are set to ensure that artists, musicians, engineers, producers and staff can comfortably interact.

    Ocean Suite maximum capacity: 25 people

    Studio A maximum capacity: 8 people

    Studio B maximum capacity: 6 people

    Studio C maximum capacity: 4 people

  • By appointment only. Please call in advance to schedule a tour. FaceTime tours are available if scheduling doesn’t permit an in-person tour.

  • Bravo Ocean Studios will hold files no longer than 7 days in our system. It is highly recommended you bring your own hard drive to transfer your files onto at the end of each session. Bravo Ocean Studios and its staff are not responsible for unretrievable or missing files after 7 days from the creation of the file.

    Bravo engineers can send out files digitally via Wetransfer.com as a courtesy at the end of your session. Transfer fees starting at $100/hr will apply to digital transfers that take over 30 minutes to upload. Retrieving files at a later date is subject to billable studio time.

  • For the health, well being, cleanliness, and longevity of our staff and equipment, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside our facilities. We are a smoke-friendly studio, however. Designated, private, and covered outdoor areas are provided to clients wanting to smoke during their booked sessions.

  • Bravo Ocean Studios is committed to creating a safe and peaceful environment for all employees, clients, and visitors. We strongly believe in the principles of non-violence and aim to maintain a creative space that’s free from any threat or harm. To achieve this, we have established the following non-violence and no firearms policy:

    1. Non-Violence:

    a. Violence in any form, including physical, verbal, or psychological, is strictly prohibited within the premises of Bravo Ocean Studios. This policy extends to all employees, contractors, clients, and visitors.

    b. All individuals associated with Bravo Ocean Studios are expected to treat each other with respect, courtesy, and professionalism at all times.

    2. No Firearms:

    a. The possession, carrying, or use of firearms, deadly weapons, or any instrument capable of causing harm is strictly prohibited within Bravo Ocean Studios premises. This includes concealed carry of firearms, open carry, or any form of weaponry.

    b. Firearms are not to be stored in personal belongings within the studio.

    c. Exceptions to this policy may only be made for on-duty law enforcement officers in compliance with local laws.

    3. Consequences for Violations:

    a. All employees, clients, and visitors are encouraged to promptly report any violations or concerns related to this policy to studio management.

    b. Any violations or concerns related to this policy will not be tolerated and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken, including expulsion from the studio premises.

    c. Legal authorities may be involved in cases of serious misconduct, including the possession of firearms within the studio.
